The TranspImage result for church vanortation Ministry at Grace provides transportation to and from the church for those in need within Altoona, Hollidaysburg and surrounding areas.

Sunday Morning: On Sunday morning, transportation is provided on our church vans for those in need within the Altoona, Hollidaysburg and surrounding areas. This outreach consists of four Grace Bible Church vans, driven by a rotating group of fourteen drivers and assistants, all with their own unique way of displaying Gods love.    The vans depart at 8:30 am to so that riders can attend one of the many Sunday school classes followed by the 10:30 am Worship Service in the main sanctuary.   The vans depart the church parking lot by 12:00 pm to take riders safely home.

Wednesday Evening AWANA (Sept-May):  The Transportation Ministry provides transportation for approximately 165 children on four buses and four vans.  With a crew of about 25, each evening begins in the church kitchen about 4:30 pm to have a quick bite to eat and head out.   The cooks provide a wonderful meal for those on the transportation crew who do not have time to go home from work to have dinner.  The vans and buses depart the church at 6:00 pm with 2 or 3 people on each bus and 2 people on each van.  It is a challenging ministry; however it is very rewarding as we bring kids to AWANA where they can learn about Christ.  Adults and any parent or guardian of the children who come to AWANA are also welcome to ride along.   AWANA is dismissed at 8:35 pm, at children are returned safely home.
