This series is made up of three classes; 101 Membership, 201 Maturity, and 301 Ministry & Mission.  These classes are designed to be taken in order and are open to all individuals 16 years of age and older.

Class 101, 201, and 301 are offered on a Sunday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Childcare and supper are provided for attendees and their families.

Class 101 is an introduction into our church family. This class provides an overview of our doctrine, purpose and organization. Through this series you will learn what Grace Bible Church believes, teaches, and practices. This class is a requirement for those seeking to join Grace Bible Church. Attending 101 does not mean that you will automatically become a member. At the conclusion of the session one of the Pastors will be in contact with you concerning your decision. At that time you will be asked to give a personal testimony of your salvation. We believe that church membership is an important commitment in the life of a Christian. However individuals who are not members of Grace Bible may continue to take 201 and 301.

Class 201 Maturity teaches basic biblical spiritual disciplines that are necessary for spiritual growth and maturity. We recognize that discipleship cannot be reduced to a program. At the same we realize that discipleship requires biblical information. The New Testament and the history of the church reveal certain characteristics of truly committed disciple of Jesus Christ. We have developed 201 to provide a biblical framework for discipleship. Paul commanded Timothy to “exercise yourself toward godliness”, 1 Timothy 4:7. The NASB says “discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness.” Spiritual disciplines are the time worn channels that we need to develop in our lives in our pursuit of godliness. A disciple is a disciplined follower of Jesus.

Ministry & Mission

Class 301 Ministry & Mission emphasizes one’s ministry in the church and one’s mission in the world. In this class we cover the area of spiritual gifts. These are supernatural abilities sovereignly given by God to each believer at the moment of salvation. We first identify and explain each spiritual gift. We also discuss how a person can understand which gifts God has given to them. We also present the ministry opportunities within our local church ministry. In the Mission section of 301 we teach some basic principles of sharing our faith with others. We present some practical ways to get involved with local and international missions.
